About Us

Two new friends set down in a coffee shop for the first time in 2023. They talked about their love of reading and writing. And they talked about how the lovely town of Petersburg needed a cozy bookstore. It was a dream they'd both had independently, one of those kind of dreams you keep tucked away and don't spend too much time thinking about because it doesn't feel all that realistic. While they had completely different styles, they dreamed up a bookstore that anyone could enjoy. A place where the aesthetic varies across the store and genres vary. A place that all book lovers can find something they adore. This idea grew as the two became close friends, blossoming into Wildflower & Rose Bookstore.
